CONUL, the Consortium of National and University Libraries, is at the heart of Ireland’s global advance in fostering and enabling new research, excellence in scholarship and teaching, digital depth and cultural breadth.
Irish research libraries preserve Ireland’s memory and advance Irish discovery.
CONUL Training & Development seeks to provide co-operative training and staff development opportunities, which are in support of CONUL’s strategic objectives. These opportunities are identified by staff in member libraries, the CONUL Board and CONUL Sub-Committees & Groups.
The Consortium of National and University Libraries (CONUL) is the representative body of research libraries in Ireland and Northern Ireland. CONUL is at the heart of Ireland’s global advance in new research, excellence in scholarship and teaching, digital depth and cultural breadth.
Our 2020 – 2024 Strategy sets out our vision for Irish research libraries.
CONUL offers support to proactively develop the skills, including the leadership skills, of the people who work in CONUL libraries by:
Providing collaborative training courses that embed CONUL values.
Facilitating ERASMUS exchange programmes for library staff.
Encouraging collaboration between CONUL libraries through groups
This online exhibition presents just a sample of the incredible variety of unique and distinct collections within
