For this year’s Explore Your Archive 2017 campaign, RCSI Library’s Heritage Collections are hosting a public lecture on Saturday 25th November, 1pm in RCSI’s new academic and education building in No. 26 York Street. RCSI Archivist Susan Leyden will be delivering a talk on ‘Dissecting the archives of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland’ followed by a tour with Dr Johanna Archbold of RCSI’s historic buildings at 2pm.
During this week of showcasing archives, RCS Heritage Collections collaborated with the RCSI REACH Programme to host an archival workshop for transition year students from CBS Secondary School in Dublin to give pupils their first taste weird and wonderful medical archives & artefacts from the college collections.
