ERASMUS Library Staff Mobility: Dublin 2017, 26-30 June

CONUL is delighted to announce the first collaborative ERASMUS Library Staff Mobility week, 26-30 June 2017, in Dublin.  The event is being organised by CONUL’s Staff training and Development Group, ANLTC (http://anltc.conul.ie/).

The libraries of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University College Dublin and University of Dublin, Trinity College have come together to provide a dynamic and engaging programme of training for library colleagues under the ERASMUS scheme.

The programme consists of presentations by library staff in the organising institutions, presentations from the selected participants, joint group work exercises and other interactive tasks around the following themes:

  • Information and digital literacies
  • Space & storage in libraries
  • Cultural heritage including unique & distinct collections and archives
  • Enabling Research
  • Customer Service/User Experience (UX)
  • Libraries & Change

The programme also include visits to the libraries of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, University College Dublin and University of Dublin, Trinity College.  Further information is available on the iMotion ERASMUS Staff Training Website or link directly to the draft programme and online application form.  The closing date for applications is Friday 12th May 2017.
