In support of CONUL’s strategic objective of being the platform for our international presence, CONUL Training & Development is delighted to announce the third collaborative ERASMUS Library.
The libraries of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University College Dublin and University of Dublin, Trinity College have come together to provide a dynamic and engaging programme of training for library colleagues under the ERASMUS scheme.
The programme will include presentations from staff in CONUL member institutions, participant presentations, joint group work exercises and other interactive tasks. It will also include visits to the libraries of the host institutions and the library of the Royal Irish Academy.

European colleagues participating in the programme must be in receipt of ERAMSUS Staff Mobility programme funding from their home institutions. The working language for the programme is English.
Applications are invited from professional library staff working in universities or other research orientated libraries with an interest in sharing ideas and networking with colleagues. Applicants should be employed in librarianship roles (or equivalent) requiring a professional librarianship (or equivalent) qualification.
Participation in the scheduled programme is free of charge. The programme includes lunch in the host institutions, a walking tour and one evening networking event. Other costs such as accommodation; travel to and around Dublin; and other meals are to be covered by the participants. Participants must organise their own accommodation and are responsible for covering their own accommodation costs.

4 – 28 February 2019 Applications reviewed. Applications will be assessed based on the applicant’s motivation statement, professional biography and the applicant’s own contribution to the programme (sharing ideas, best practice etc.).
Friday 1 March 2019 Applicants will be advised if their application has been accepted or not
