Description: This Innovation Day is a chance to visit the ever evolving McClay Library at Queen’s University Belfast as it comes to the end of the third expansion project since opening in 2009. The library strives to provide the best possible customer service and prides itself on having the customer at the heart of everything it does. This course offers an opportunity to share the experiences, practices and initiatives of Queen’s University libraries with other CONUL institutions. The day will be full of variety and divided into two main sessions. The morning will consist of presentations relating to a range of customer centered projects. The afternoon will focus on Customer Service Excellence involving a speed networking session that provides snapshots and insights from both professional and non-professional library staff.
